Guest guest
I've read that Fibromyalgia is the " sensitive everything disease. " It's almost like having Autism, and being so sensitive to noise. cent lights drive me nuts with the buzzing. The phone line has a buzzing noise to it. I hate noise so much I have the phone ringer shut off, and the ans. machine turned down. And then there is that ice cream peddler truck that plays the worst tunes over and over. I really hate that thing, and I've seen it around here. Tis the season, and I ain't jolly. Dillion > I can completely relate with you. Noise drives me crazy and the worst part about it is that I get so angry when someone drives by blasting their music.

Guest guest
Wow, you really do have sharp ears. I can't hear any of that stuff. I heard a cat meow for the first time last week. I was saying that wow, I never heard a cat meow before and the girl just looked at me and I can't understand why she looked at me like that. Like hello? Not everyone all has the same hearing. I have new hearing aids, and boy do I hear a lot more sounds. Alot of them, I prefer not to hear, but I do have the lovely choice of turning my hearing aids off, when these sounds become too annoying for me. When I do have them on, there are many sounds that I am not accustomed too. I guess this is what people hear in the hearing world. I know, I will never understand it. Ruth Smitycrochet@... Guest guest
have you tried using a straw to drink? i have extremely sensitive teeth and i have to use straws alot. try your local dollar store for the best value. > Sorry to hear that. I've gotten the " are you trying to kill yourself lecture " many times. I'm a chronic overdoser. I overdose because I become so immune to medication that it no longer works, and I take the strongest medication you can get. I however did not get the speech after I had the siezure. They did nothing for my tongue because it was a small part on the left side that I bit off and there isn't anything to put back on. And the chunk of my inner lip is healing. It is so painful I cannot eat or brush my teeth. And drinking kills me. Thanks for writing to me, I know how it is, I vomit all the time when the pain gets bad. It is said that you know pain is bad when you eigther vomit or pass out. > > sincerely, > Jana
Guest guest
no I have not tried using a straw but thanks for the advice. The only problem with that is I have some sort of obsessive compulisive disorder, because I won't (usually) drink out of an open cup or glass, it has to be bottled or have a cap on it. I'm real weird with food, it has to be extremely clean. I've got some weird phobias. too hard to explain.
