Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the feedback. You mentioned having upper body symptoms. Do you mind sharing what they were? It's interesting about your cauda equina. On MRI I don't even seem to have one. Go figure. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I wish you all the best. I'm so glad I was directed to this site. It has been a goldmine of info. I see a pediatric neurosurgeon in Okla City this Thursday. I'm compiling a list of questions to ask him. I'd love to hear from anyone with suggestions about what to ask. I was so stunned when I was first diagnosed that I know I didn't ask one intelligent question. Actually didn't know enough about it to ask anything! V.
Guest guest
Hi , My upper body symptoms include muscle fatigue and weakness, tingling in my hands, (it happens frequently - like every time I talk on the telephone), and pain. I have some loss of fine motor skills in my hands, it means I frequently drop things, and sometimes if I start to set something down, I throw it instead. Also, when using the mouse, I will have a hand spasm and the mouse will jump out of control. When you see the neurosurgeon (if I haven't missed you), you should ask why it appears that you do not have a cauda equina - mine should also have shown up this way in the MRI, but it didn't. Good luck with your appointment today. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Take care, V. Ontario Canada > Hi , > > Thanks for the feedback. You mentioned having upper body symptoms.
