Guest guest
I want to Thank Everyone for the answers on insurance coverage for UAE. The list of insurance co. that cover UAE is very helpful, the list my employer gave us to choose from includes several of them. It's a shame that we have to practically be legal/medical experts in order to figure out if we have appropriate coverage or not. Not to mention how to treat ourselves-if it weren't for the fact that I am completely terrified of surgery, I would have just assumed that I really do need a hysterectomy. But my fear drove me to research the subject. And trust me, I was shocked at HOW EASY it was to find out that it wasn't the case. I had my D & C yesterday, and I had to pass on what happened right before. My nurse for the procedure introduced herself and asked me if heavy bleeding was the cause of the D & C. I said yes, and she remarked that she had that same problem and she got so tired of it she went ahead and had a hysterectomy (she said she had adenomyosis (sp?)). She said a few other things and her whole attitude was that it was no big deal...I didn't respond the way I wanted to because I didn't want to hurt her feelings, but I told her that I just didn't know. She conceded that it was a big decision and left it at that. I know I am a paranoid person, but I had a wild thought in my head like maybe the dr told her to share that with me. I have to wait until Tuesday to find the results of the D & C. He said he should be able to tell me where/how many fibroids then. One good thing, no bleeding since yesterday (I had been bleeding for 7 weeks) HotBot - Search smarter. http://www.hotbot.com
