Yes, thank you for posting this, it's kind of a fun story. I was

actually on the news when the local NBC station covered it. I personally

think it is a bunch of hype to get some press for the Historic Paso Robles

Inn. Of course I didn't say that on the news. (I just acted like I was

answering a phone) It is certainly not out of the ordinary for us to get

9-1-1 calls from " weird " locations, especially when it is raining. I would

venture to say that most depts probably do.... We get one that comes back to

0 Hwy 101 as the address. We have several that come from vacant houses, etc.

I am not sure how the Inn determined that the call came from rm 1007, our

ali shows the general switchboard number for the Inn only, in fact I believe

we did a call back and they said that they had were not sure which room

dialed 9-1-1.

HOWEVER,(here comes my own little publicity spot), I will say that it is

really a beautiful hotel. It sits in the middle of our downtown area. If

anyone is looking for a fun weekend, come out the third weekend in May for

our annual Wine Festival. The Inn is probably already booked, but the main

wine tasting event takes place on Saturday in City Park, right across the

street. It is a lot of fun, and a great way to get hooked on Paso Robles

wines......
