Hi Tammi

I also take neurontin & lamictal for nerve pain (sensory neuropathy in both my

feet and legs up to my knees) and a pain killer and like you by 3:00 pm I can't

keep my eyes open. I try to work through it, but most days I end up falling

asleep in my chair and taking a nap for 1 - 2 hrs. Don't know if it's the

combination or what.

> I'm so sorry to hear that you are having alot of pain lately. I also have not

been online much as of late. I am preparing for my SSD appeal hearing on mon

18th. The stress is causing alot of pain and muscle spasms in my back and neck.

thankfully pain management changed my med from oxycodein to oxycotin. It helps

alot with the pain and I only have to take it 2x day instead of every 4 hs. The

only problem ( and there is always 1 or 2 isn't there) is that it tends to wear

off after about 10 to 10 1/2 hrs. I can take a 1/2 an ativan to help with the

muscle spasms til I can take my next dose. the worst part is that the

medication (maybe in combo w/ the neurotin) makes me soooo tired around 3pm.

By 5 pm I am dozing off for 2 or 3 hrs. I have fallen asleep several times and

not even realized it.

> the only other problem is taht it is a non preferred med w/ the insurance so

it it costing me $50/month. I take 5 other meds. i have to cut backmy dose on

some of my other meds to manage.

> We can't win can we. Well I hope you are feeling better soon. take care.
