Dear Mr. Deepak, Thank you verymuch for your reply, I feel that lightning is an electrical charge which will follow a least resistance path and the tallest conducting medium in the vicinity. In such cases, this should have not happened in an urban area like bangalore. Are the electrical charges in mobile phone really attracts lightning? even if it is so why it is confined only to mobile phones and not to the other battery operated accessories. if the electrical charges in mobile phone attracts the lightining despite the lightning arresters been fixed or other tallest structures, then the no of

Sir, It is true during rainy season there are free electrical charges are present in atmosphere & while mobile is in running condition, the electrical charges generated by mobile are attracted to lightening.
