Dear Friends,

We are planning to buy one x-ray equipment for inspection of processor

component mounted on PCB by means of ball grid array (BGA), since

connectivity or void can not be seen through naked eye.

Can anybody throw some light on health & safety issue w.r.t x-ray

equipment. Is it required to obtain BARC certificate for using the

equipment? What about personnel safety ? How to measure x-ray

radiation? calibration of equipment?
