Dear a,

I also have a pain in my left ankle which does not seem to have anything to do

with the ankle or foot. I had already made the connection that it must be to do

with the tethered cord. The Rehabilitation doctor I saw last week told me that

these are phantom pains, like those which people who have had a limb amputated

get. I have some extra painkillers, Dihydrocodeine, which I can take when I need

to, and although they do not even touch the back pain when that happens, they do

just take the edge off the ankle pain.

Best wishes,

I noticed, that when I was having Symptoms before my last Detethering, that

I actually started to Walk differently, and I developed a big Callous on my

left Big Toe, it didn't hurt for the most part, unless I was wearing the

wrong Shoes. So, even though it is different and in a different place on the

Foot, I wonder if it could be a gradual difference in the way you are

Walking, and you just are not noticing it!?!

Another thought...........could you Heel Cord be getting tight? How is the

flexability in your Foot?

Seems like I wanted to say more on this Subject based on others Responses,

but for the life of me, I can't remember what. lol
