Dear Friend,

This is in one's own interest to develop a habit of wearing safety helmet irrespective of the fact that wearing is mandatory or not.

If you are working under a shed(crane or no crane) even a small size of piece,nut,bolt falling from even 5-6 mtrs. height, has the potential to cause head injury - the extent of injury can not be predicted.

You, yourself, can make a choice,ultimately this is your own head.

I need clarification on helmets in shop floors.

Are there any standard that people should wear safety helmets when working under Over head cranes ?

Or is it the made mandatory based on the risk done by the safety department ?
