He's been stiff and sore but nothing major. One hip is the culprit but he

didn't break anything at all. And of course, he's still! digging class out

of his hair. He's still working on integrating the experience...we talk

about it a lot, and he's been to the scene twice. But this is healthy

behavior....which most men don't utilize as much as they could. By doing

this, he shouldn't have any mental issues come up later about it.

Way to go Charlotte! Your car sounds nice. Dh hasn't had any lingering

effects from the accident?

My physical limitations are depressing to me as I used to be very physically

active. From being a gymnast in High School to Running later, and then into

Martial Arts (running a School) then to go from that to hardly being able to

complete an easy workout tape....yikes. It took me six months to get up to

23 minutes. It used to be that 23 minutes was just the warm up!

Oh, well, :) Better to keep within my limitations than to quit. It would be

easier to quit, and lie around, less painful too. But who wants to live life

like that? I'm 41 years old, that's too young to be a slug! I'm grateful for

the workouts because they keep me in the middle of life. I think I would

have given up by now if not for the workouts. Not being able to keep up in

stores, not being able to complete a 3 mile walk, not being able to clean my

house.....just normal things. That's what Tae-bo gives me. Normal life! And

I'm so thankful for it.

Charlotte,

I'm new here so don't know much about your history but I, myself,

have chronic neck pain (2 mildly herniated discs), carpal tunnel and

daily headaches. For 2 years I didn't workout due to being depressed.

The best thing I ever did was stumble across and Taebo. With

him, I realized that working out did help me feel better mentlaly and

physically and to realize that I may have limits as to what I can do.

I do not have to be Ms. Olympia or a top athlete, etc.; my job is

just to be the best me that I can be. And if that means 10 minutes of

exercise one day and 30 the next, so be it.

It took me quite a few years to figure that out; it sounds like you

are on the right track.

> 23 minutes. I found out that I'm doing exactly what I'm suppose to

be doing as far as exercising, as well as not trying to do too much.

I felt lazy because I wasn't getting as much done as I would have

liked but I read an article by a Dr. that talked about that people

with my illness need to exercise every day or they feel worse. And he

talked about how a person needs to know when they are reaching the

limits of thier energy to stop.

23 minutes that was slightly longer than last one. Worked a little harder,

got a little more tired.

My husband is starting to have major bruising from his car accident. It's

funny that it took so long to show up. He's still hurting a bit, but no

broken bones...(we think) from it. Got a new car. A Saturn, '02. Forest

green. Nobody was surprised because I've been saying that I want a Saturn

for years. The only problem is that I wanted a " red " one, but the forest

green one is very nice. It's got red, gold, yellow, tiny sparkles in the

paint. Very nice. Lots of nice thinking, features on the car, too.
