Guest guest
I am told by the authoirty, that if cylinders are used in manifold system, this condition of 100 kgs is not applicable. Pl. Confirm. Also I think that if LPG is used only for cooking purpose in canteen, then instead of Gas cylinder rules, LPG ( Regulation and supply & distribution) order1993 will apply. If I am wrong pl. correct me. S.H. Guest guest
Mr. Muthu, You are correct. If the LPG cylinders are connected in a manifold, the condition of 100kg is not applicable. If you store the LPG cylinder (Other than the cylinder connected in manifold) for any purpose, gas cylinder rules is applicable. Guest guest
Dear Captain, This is not specifically mentioned in any rule (if I am correct). The understanding is that license is required only for storage purpose if you connect it in manifold then it is considered as in use. Then the storage regulations will not apply. Once I personally checked up with one of the controller explosives in the southern region when I was with TVS motor. We have even received reply from Explosives dept confirming the same.
