Guest guest
Oh my. Some folks have mentioned the use of an audible signal to outsiders (outside the building or in co-located buildings or rooms) for 9-1-1 calls. To let folks know you're getting a 9-1-1 call? So they'll be patient when you don't answer the radio right away? Just how large is the response area, anyway? <blinking> (Our four counties would take a REALLY loud one and I fear the public would think it's some sort of Doomsday Warning! Not to mention the periods of time when it would sound without ceasing for several minutes.... Uhhhh.... how often do y'all get 9-1-1 calls??? Help me understand this...... <furrowed brow> Happy to be here, proud to serve.
