Guest guest
Hi All, I was never blessed to have children of my own, so don't deal in the realm of people under 20 much. I just got thinking about how much I appreciate my highschool typing class that taught me where all the keys on a keyboard were, so I could type without looking at the keys (except for a few symbols, numbers, etc) (Not to say I don't type were when I MEANT where!) So, I got thinking about the few articles I've seen about chat rooms where people type in bastardized language such as " Hi, grt to se U " etc. ly, for me, it's much faster to type an entire word correctly then to think about a letter that sounds like the work, such as " U " for " you. " So, with computers being used so much, are basic 2 hand typing skills being taught as soon as a kid gets a computer today?? If not, when, and why not? Thanks. Just a curiosity and no kids nearby to ask. Jan Jan Patenaude, RD Director of Medical Nutrition Signet Diagnostic Corporation (Mountain Time) (toll free) Fax: DineRight4@...
