Guest guest
I am in the same boat.......... but the pain also makes my heart spasm, and If I don't get it under control... i t can kill me. dash Re: Back ache I can't sit still, I'm constantly shifting positions in my chair (and some of them are pretty weird, lol). If I stand for any length of time, my back burns, and nothing relieves the pain. When I worked at a bookstore a few years ago I used to lean over the counters and pray for my shift to be over. It was all I could to not to cry. My hands ache constantly, and it's difficult to type. I used to type at 110 wpm, but it's down to 45 wpm now, on a good day. I have a packet of celebrex, does it help at all with FM pain? I can't remember if I've tried it, I do know that Vioxx was a total waste, it didn't do anything at all for me. cyn At 07:35 PM 4/22/2004 -0700, Aimee wrote: >With me, it's my low back and buttocks. Guest guest
That is terrible. I doubt that I have any heart spasms, but occasionally have stabbing chest pains that are incredibly painful. I just hold my breath, then try very shallow breathing. Sometimes the stabbing pain goes away right away, but sometimes I have to keep holding my breath. This has been going on for at least 30 years, but I keep forgetting to ask a doctor about it. At one time, a gp told me I had Mitral Valve Prolapse, but he was past the age of retirement, and couldn't remember details from one visit to the next, which was kind of scary. He was a very nice, caring doctor, but I didn't want to put my life in the hands of a doctor who couldn't remember what meds he'd given me a week ago. cyn At 06:21 PM 5/3/2004 -0700, dash wrote: >I am in the same boat.......... but the pain also makes my heart spasm, >and If I don't get it under control... i t can kill me. dash cyn clmerritt@... Guest guest
heart spasms do not go away... they escalate into heart attack. Starts like a mild spasm and continues on.... lived thru one full fledged heart attack and a few minor near misses. dash Re: Back ache That is terrible. Guest guest
Hi all, cyn, I could have written your post.:-) My hubby I know thinks I'm lazy. I do wash the dishes but hate doing it as my back hurts so much. I am taking ultram right now but it does not do much. I'm looking for a better pain doctor. I have hand pain also and that really upsets me as my passion is training my dogs.
