Guest guest
Genie, I agree 100 percent. Some Doc.'s do seem to treat people like shit. I had a Doc. once whom I went to see, While I was in the examining room next door I could hear him thru the wall talking on the phone. This Doc. was also an alfalfa farmer and he was making a deal with someone on the phone about the alfalfa crop. I was really ticked off about it, and I told him so when he finally did come in to examine me. I told him that my time was just as blanking valuable as his. And that I did not appreciate waiting while he conducted his farming buisiness. G. in Oregon Question I, have a question, is there any kind of group out thier that has information for paitiens by paientens, as to the etecal treatment, and attitudeas, of the doctors, such as paient-doctor relations, like does this dr. treat you as a equal or like dirt under thier feet. do they listen to you of wave away t\your comment. if not does anyone know about how to go about starting one.seems to me if dr.s can mark on your perminate medical records kept in a data base. on the type of patient you are. then we the paitent should beable to referance comments made by pass paitens of any dr. dont you agree. just a thought genie
Guest guest
Hi! My Rheumatologist recently diagnosed me with fibromyalgia after months of terrible muscle and joint pain, as well as insomnia. The doctor put me on Bextra. My question is, do any of you ever have periods where you are almost symptom-free? I don't know if it is the Bextra, the warmer weather, or just plain luck that I am doing so much better. I still have terrible problems with insomnia - many nights waking after just 4 hrs. of sleep and that is it for the night. But the absence of pain is phenonmenal. Anyway, I was just wondering if any of you have had a similar experience. Thanks, Sherry
Guest guest
Sherry, I have had (in the past) periods without many symptoms, but haven't had any relief in the last few months. It is such a relief to get a break from pain - people who don't suffer constantly like we do think we are nuts to be so grateful for a break from it. Most do not realize how draining it can be for us. Enjoy your break!
