To clarify (I posted this at midnight and it never came up):

1) Purpose of my video was to highlight what one woman

did billing her doctors who were in the wrong. (Therapist

who put another person in for her hour-long appt and paid her

and gyn arriving 40 min late to work) Every doc I have spoken with

agrees that they would do something similar had they screwed up.

Time to end the double standard of having no show and cancel fees

that only apply to patients if doctors do the same.

2) I do see CNN piece as a conversation starter. I have no control

obviously with how they slant the piece. It's for public consumption

and not meant specifically to help doctors fix their own woes.

The title of Cohen's column is THE EMPOWERED PATIENT

not THE LIBERATED DOCTOR (as Malia pointed out to me on a

phone call this weekend). I believe that empowered patients

will lead to empowered doctors, liberated doctors will lead to liberated

patients. We are all in this together.

As fas as when to mention IMPs or IMP map: This can work in the

reverse where I do NOT mention IMP map and the article turns out

very PRO doctor and other docs interviewed get their name and

map out there and are seen as the go-to group. And iMPs miss out.

Media is unpredictable. Gotta have thick skin. MLK says " The arc of the

moral universe in long, but it bends toward justice. " I believe in the dream.
