Guest guest
Hi Sue my dx is POTS. I was never told anything like that (my regular doc is a gem...he has ALWAYS taken my symptoms seriously & done everything he knows to help). What are conversion hysteria or somatization disorder? I will research on web but could you clarify? I'm wondering if that isn't what that deficient neuro thought & told my doc when I saw him...he talked to me for a couple of minutes & decided 'it was stress related' (that's what my doc would admit to me) & didn't even bother to give me a neuro exam!!! I'm waiting for his written report to see what it says. Would appreciate any info. June in CA dx of POTS, neuro says mri's normal enuff, waiting for Dr. Batzdorf rhbailey@... wrote: > Hi all, > > People with POTS, NMH or CFS are often told that their symptoms are > conversion hysteria or somatization disorder.
