a Prez update **

Oh Vicki, That is so terrible !! She's had so much to bear and now

this... my heart goes out to her and her foster son.! Her family

should be there as a support group and we know that's not the case

for her. So she soooo needs us. Alot of the new members probably

don't even know her or were even aware was president of this

group. She's a beautiful person. Is there any way I can get her home

address so I can send out a few cards of encouragement or if she's

in the hospital that address. You newer members could go back in the

message files to see what wanted for this group when she

started it. Right Vicki, tho this has to be trying for you also. And

I'm probably 'new' to alot of the group that's here now.LOL

Hi Everyone I'm K, if you've read my posts or been in the chat

room..tho I've missed several lately, you know I was in the hospital

last month with pneumonia and the fobro monster [anyone here been

watching Kings 15 part show named Kingsom Hospital?] well

that's about as confused and lost I've felt lately. NOT able to lose

the extreme fatigue I delt with for almost 2 weeks before I said: ok

bad food, no sleep, what ever put me in. Got half right definitly no

sleep.....lol But now that Spring is here and I want to get out and

do what I could do last year at this time........Not happening.

Spend more time sitting in a lawn chair then working with my flowers

and bulbs. Did manage to plant a 10 foot row of peas...felt so good

came in and decided to lay down and read a book.....woke up 7 hours

later. at 8 pm... and I could have rolled over and went right back

to sleep. it was almost 2 weeks before I could cook a decent meal

[roast with trimmings] Thanks Heavens I have a husband and daughter

who are good cooks...at least didn't try to bake a pizza with

the card board still on it.That was a long time ago but we'll never

let him forget it. LOL

Any way..hope to be able to post more often now. The rains and

gale force winds have subsided some but I;m pacing myself now. Been

able to make a few boquet of daffodils for the table, Hope to have a

couple of vases of lilacs in the houose soon too. Anything that

lifts the spirits. And wasn't difficult to procur. That's it for

now. Have to grab Kali while she near me and get her pheno barbital

down her..poor sweet heart has epilepsy. For those of you who don't

know she's our resident female feline. Still having siezures so

upped her med to 15 mg. twice a day.

So nice to see people posting and the replies. Lets see if maybe

we can each add a positive statement about ourselves this coming

week. I'll go first:
