I don't know though cuz I can't lose anymore either!! Maybe that's the magic.

My body is stubborn, it's not gaining, it's not losing...ha..ha.. I think I'm

going to have to have a talk w/ it real soon here and have Tae-Bo straighten it

out again. Even if it were 3 times a week. My problem is all or nothing. I

never feel like 3 times a week is enough so then I do more then I get all

frustrated cuz I don't have the time and end up quitting altogether. It's a

vicious cycle. You guys are motivating me though, keep chatting...

Oh, I'm pretty dang sure my motivation would come back full-force if I had " the

Monse " working out w/ me in either my gym or basement...hee..hee... Yes, please

LOL, Yeppers, I was going to wait to answer your quesion . I knew you'd

read ahead and find out for yourself :) I so love breastfeeding also. I will

gladly carry around the extra 15 lbs or whatever it is if that's what it takes

to feed my baby :)

Okay, I REALLY think I'm going to try hard to get a workout in. Monse you are

inspiring me big-time. I think I may have to start out with only half a tape

though. I know I am sooo out of shape :( Crazy what 3 months does to you.

However, it feels like years that I've worked out..LOL...

Wasn't it Joan who was picking up again?? Maybe I will try to follow her

lead... :)

Can I JUST say... I love ya Monse!!! :0) Thanks for being such a sweet

special friend. I'll be thinking of you all weekend. If I don't workout, I'll

I am picking it up again. I finally finished Dr. Phil's book and am putting

a lot of it into practice. Key #7 is Intentional Exercise so I got

intentional. It feels good to get sweaty again - the 4 a.m. part isn't that

great, but it's easier since dh has started getting up at that time. Jump

right in with me and we can encourage each other!

Thanks! He is great. The poor guy is the manager of information systems and

they are getting ready to implement a couple of major new programs so he's

working 12 hour days. He was tired of coming home a 7, missing dinner w/the

family and not having any time with the kids so he started going in to work

early. So for the next couple of months, I'm a " single mom " in some respects

since he'll be working weekends or at least a portion of it.

Darcy,

I used to be the same way...all or nothing, but that is a definite

pitfall and will really be a stumbling block to reaching your goals!

I know it's hard, but you have to find that happy

balance.....especially now that you are a mother! It is basically

impossible for us to workout the way we used to when we had nothing

else to worry about because we just don't have that kind of time

anymore! So, you have to figure out a reasonable goal for

yourself.....probably start off shooting for 2-3 days a week and make

that your goal! And BE HAPPY for yourself when you accomplish it

(don't beat yourself up because it's ONLY two days). Heck, those two

or three days are something positive and are better than nothing :)

Also, it's better to start doing those two or three days a week now

because although you might not be losing anything right now because

you are breastfeeding....when you stop breastfeeding, you will

already be in the habit of working out consistently and those pounds

will most likely come off more quickly :)

This summer Skylar was gone for about 6 weeks visiting her dad and I

had a revelation. I was thinking about how empty my life felt

without her...how much she added to my day and how much joy she

brought to me. I was thinking 'you know, now that she's not here I

could go workout for longer at the gym like I used to and actually

have some time for myself'. I enjoyed that for about a week and then

I was ready for her to come home.....LOL! Our priorities totally

change when we have kids. My life would be so empty without Skylar.

Sure, I could work out every day whenever I wanted to......but I

would never, ever go back to the time when I could do that! Not sure

this is making much sense...I'm just trying to say you just have to

figure out a way to be okay with working out less. And, I'm guessing

if you take a look at Sawyer, you'll find it :) That doesn't mean

you have to totally neglect yourself...it just means you have to

figure out that balance and try to work the middle ground instead of

that 'all or nothing' thinking! I know it's a tough one to crack,

but believe me......it really is one of the keys to finding happiness

and peace within yourself :)

Good Luck getting back on track :) Remember that any little bit you

do is a good thing! Just take it one day at a time :)

Thanks Joan. As soon as I get caught up on my sleep. I'm going to get up at

the same time as my husband does. He'll be going to work, and I'll be working

out! I hope to do it this week, but we'll see. Sawyer's had a cold and been

up A LOT during the night so we haven't been sleeping the best.

Thanks so much Joan. :) I didn't do Tae-Bo yesterday but we took Sawyer in his

wagon and went for a long walk up in the woods..... It was exercise!! :) I

will see how early he goes to sleep tonight. If it's at a decent time, I'll

get a workout in.....
