Guest guest
I am so happy that your husband's insurance will pay.  I had been on the list for 3 years then placed on hold when I broke my hip in June. I just found out that they have now re-enstated me on Friday.  I see that you are from Texas.....I am in the Dallas area.......  You and yours are in my prayers.  Lyncia To: livercirrhosissupport <livercirrhosissupport > Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2011 5:45 PM Subject: Heard from the Pre-Transplant Verification  Hubby's insurance will pay for the transplant so it's a go for Evaluation. They are going to send an email explaining what all he has to do and they are going to schedule the testing starting Monday morning. It's supposed to be 3 days of testing and maybe a 4th day. Waiting to see the email to see what all they have scheduled. I think I've been holding my breath to see if the insurance would pay so as to not get our hopes up too high. I realize that this is just the beginning and it doesn't mean he'll get a liver, but I finally feel as if progress is being made! I'm so glad I found this list! Trying to muddle through this would have been so much more stressful without the help from all of you! Thanks, Sandy

Guest guest
That's always a great feeling Sandy when you find out insurance will pay. I remember I was elated and kinda shocked. I thought they would certainly fight it.
