Guest guest
Good for you Charlotte. I'm glad that you are able to workout, but just be careful don't push it. I will keep praying for you Tasha > 19 minutes on an easy workout. I took some pain killers before I worked out > and worked the shoulder gently. I had a little bit of pain but not too bad. > I did all of the stretch routine, and half of the abs. Getting better, I > guess. Glad to be back working out. Guest guest
I did 4 minutes yesterday and 10 minutes today. I feel pretty good today. Not tired! My shoulder is still bothering me. Oh, well, I see the orthopedic dr in a couple of weeks, I guess it'll get a shot like my knees will. How's everybody? It's beautiful here in Arkansas, cool, 73 degrees, sun is out, nice! My ducks are happy, thier pond is full and I'm still getting squashes off of my plants. The tomatoes are history, however! Everything is doing great, here. Charlotte " Housework is so tedious. Guest guest
! Thanks for being so encouraging. Being this way is so humbling for an ex-athletic.... Today I worked out 3 minutes with Yoga...(then they got to something I knew I wouldn't be able to do....) and then back to the same Kick-boxing tape I used yesterday for 19 minutes. They do an 8 minute stretch in the beginning. It's slow, and easy, and my muscles like that. Then there is a 6 minute intro where they go thru all the kicks and punches, and it's a nice moderate pace...and then into 20 minutes of the Cardio routine. I'm only now advancing into the routine but I hope to add a little every day. Sometimes the Tae-bo's pace would get a little too frantic for me... but this I can do it's about 3/4 the pace of Tae-bo with the extra warmup in the beginning. When this gets comfortable, I'll go back to the beginner Tae-bo. I did do walking today. I did all of our grocery shopping without getting tired. That's a big improvement. Usually, I'm dragging by the time I get past the meats. Functional fitness rules! BTW, you're an inspiration to me, too! We can be ducks together! Charlotte " Housework is so tedious. I think diversity is what we all need. I tried yoga once and didn't have the balance required. Course when I first started out doing TaeBo my youngest daughter (who tell's it like it is) told me I looked like a dork. I just laughed and asked her again after I had done it after a while and really worked on technique. She informed me I had improved....to a duck!! LOL KIDS!!! Keep on kicking no matter how or how much!! WTG Sam
