Hi Ada,

I though that by waiting over one hour to take my bg I would avoid the raise

caused by dawn phenomenon? My bg's are pretty good but I am just worried as

the bloods test for the Dr. are done early in the morning so it's not fair

if it's my higher result of the day.

If you really want to know if it is dawn phenomenen (and it probably

is)

then set your alarm for 3 am and test. Should be a good number. Then go

back

to bed and test as usual in am, If it is high, then your liver is

trying to

compensate. The only way to " cure " this is to get your sugars in tight

control. The fasting takes longer to get better but it will with a

little

time. But if you keep your numbers bouncing during the day, then the

fasting

will continue to be high.

Guess it could be worse!
