Hep C Treatment (3 part Cocktail)

Gosh, my co-worker just called me and said that her 47 yr old sister who was

taking the 3 part cocktail for HepC died at age 47 in the hospital. I'm

stunned because the only thing this girl had from the treatment was a bad

rash, from about a month ago, and a problem with anemia. They hospitalized

her and she's been there for several weeks I think and then she had a heart

attack.

They'd inserted one of those balloons into the groin area to let that do the

pumping for the heart to give her heart a rest when she passed. I'm just

too stunned for words. The Dr told them they were going to sign off on her

death certificate and list vasculitis as the cause of death until the family

questioned what actually caused her death. Now they've decided after having

a meeting with all the dr's that they'll do the autopsy since her daughter

showed concerns over what really happened.

I've heard such good things about the 3 part treatment for HepC but am just

completely dumbfounded by all this. Anybody have any type of experience with

this new treatment.
