Guest guest
Hi For those who want to know, Klonopin is an anti-seizure medicine, but it is also perscribed to help induce the stage 4 sleep that we miss. It gives extra seratonin to the brain which helps keep the pain level down when you sleep. I don't get seizures, never have. It was perscribed and I have seen it listed in some med's recommended for Fibro. The only down side with this med is that it is not recommended to stop it abruptly. Probably that is suppose to be for those who do have seizures. Anyway, yes, it did help me get the right amount of seratonin and it kind of kept the fibro at bay. So much so that I stopped taking it a few times for about 3 months before the symptoms reappeared. (I'm stealing someone else's closing cause I think it's so appropriate for us all, since I usually would end my postings with hugs, I will now close with:) Gentle hugs Quyrah
