After about a year after I first began taking hormones, I was asked to stop taking them for 30 days for a hormone test to see if maybe the hormones kicked my body into gear. Well, I went into Menopause! The hot flashes, nightly sweating, the back of my neck, hands and feet were like an oven, I was so irritable that my poor husband almost wanted to just move into a hotel for that month LOL! I couldn't see straight and I just felt as though an " alien " took me over. I hated being like that. Then, they put me back on hormones after we found out my body still wasn't producing them on it's own. I think my husband was glad I began taking them again because he no longer steered clear of me when were were together LOL!
