Guest guest
Hi everyone we recently completed a full set of labs - did just about everything (I think and have started getting things back. My son's IgG basically confirmed what I've always known - that he's very sensitive to milk/milk products/yogurt, etc...We went GFCF about 6 months ago ....looks like we're going to further remove Soy (which I'd been careful with but hadnt completely removed), Corn and a few other small items. My son is ADHD - had very few *obvious* GI issues outside some slight constipation. I was surprised to see the huge level of " gut involvement " he has..the labs BTW were thru Doctor's Data. He's got 4+ candida Krusei in his stool along with Gamma Strep 3+...So I can see where the sigA would be off - he's obviously got a lot of inflammation going on.....BUT the normal value is up to 204 and my son is at: 1058.... I'm kind of worried..when I did an internet search - things like Colon Cancer keep popping up. He's only 5....We're working with a great DAN doc here in N. CA and I'm looking forward to getting back in to see her. In the meantime, has anyone seen numbers that high in a child with yeast/overgrowth of bacterial issues? While the sigA is representative of immune function - the weird thing is that my son has always been very healthy - well at least I thought so....Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
