Some liver doctors will not treat patients who take milk thistle.

They want you following what they order, and nothing else. So, I

would check with my doctor if I were you. Jan

My liver doctor told me that people with ESLD often die from secondary

infections like pneumonia and not even their liver disease. The reason being

that our sick liver causes a decrease in our immune system.

Last summer my pain doctor noticed a " left shift " in my blood work, a term used

to describe a shift on the left side of the chart used in the days before

computer readouts. It usually indicates an infection somewhere in your body.

http://www.ehow.com/about_5172200_shift-left-blood-testing_.html

Around the same time I developed thrush infection for the second time. My pain

doctor finds all these tiny details because I see him each and every month, one

bonus derived out of crazy over regulation. Have your doctor check your blood

work. My feeling are that cirrhosis can have an effect on your eye infection no

different than a diabetic. Love, Bobby

There are medications for thrush, and I have had it a number of times.

It frequently follows a treatment with certain antibiotics. It has

never gone away for me. For women who get it vaginally, there is over

the counter meds, but for oral thrush I don't know of any. You have

to get a prescription. Jan

OMG, you got it too?? Mine has been starting up at the beginning of summer, like

late may, and stays for two or two and a half months. I am still having a relaps

this morning, mostly my gums. They gave me a prscription called fluconazole, and

I took it for 10 days with a 10 additional days refill. Good luck with it!! Hope

you feel better soon. Love, Bobby

I know that particular happy dance. A dental hygenist broke the rim of my

jawbone with her ultrasonic device a few years back... It hurt so bad for over

60 days, I dreampt of sticking the barrel of my 45 in there and blowing my jaw

off, (during an Elk hunting trip) thankfully it was only a bad dream, and the

next day the razor sharp piece of bone popped to the surface, and I fished it

out with tweezers. I did that very same happy dance. There is Nothing like

relief from a foreign body. God Bless you. Love, Bobby
