Dear ,

It means " extension of the officially authorised indications (to include 2nd

line therapy) " . Label is the authorised wording of the marketing

authorisation. It should be something like " extensión de la indicaciones

terapéuticas "

(sorry, my Spanish is very restricted).

Kind regards

Charlotte

Betreff:

Dear colleagues,

I am dealing with a bit of a doubt with regards the term “label extension”

into Spanish. Here is the sentence:

“What percentage of your patients would receive X assuming a label

extension

to the 2nd line of therapy?”

I imagine it refers to other indications of the drug, using it also as a

2nd

line of therapy for example, isn’t it? In such case, wouldn’t it mean

“dando

por sentada una ampliación de sus indicaciones a la segunda línea

terapéutica/de terapia”? Thanks in advance!
