As a matter a fact, I find his lack of complaining unsettling, as I can tell when he's in pain. A major occurence that made Rick start " sucking it up " was when we visited the last of many neurologists. This Dr. (?) told him that there was nothing that could be done and he just had to deal with it. Deal with it. Deal with THIS, doc. Rick almost believed him too.....but I can be alittle hot-headed myself (nooo.....you hadn't guessed?) and I drug his butt over to our GP, who has been incredibly supportive throughout this whole ordeal. Our GP agreed with me, that it was not yet time to give up, and that he thought there were many more " Plan B's " to turn to. So we're on the road again, interviewing nsgs, and will be seeing a Physiatrist for the first time Oct. 18. Very excited about that! So, I think that the fact that you question yourself at all proves that it's not " all in your head. " Otherwise, you'd have that angel covered! :-) Wendi--NM
