Well ya can always say a prayer while you are down there, too!

Did you look at the Armour site, they ahave a list of doctors by state.

And my Armour only costed under $6 for 50.

If I stay on 2/day, I will be spending $14/month.

gives Armour. Then I when I drop a pill on the floor maybe my knees won't

I've always split my doses.. even when on $ynthroid.. and those

are teeny

C, iron,

DHEA, and selenium.. all of them split fine for me

My doctors all of them (not on insurance)

let me change my own meds.

Can't you lower the meds yourself?

How is your pulse?

Do you just need T3?

Can you call him and ask for it?

I think if you go to a Savon Drugstore

or a "Longs" drug store, they have a

free blood pressure machine.

Your timing for

this is interesting. I am with a new DR here in CA. He has me on now 0.50

Synthyroid. I went hyper on this dose with the last DR when I lived in

FL. My last test showed a TSH of 5.5 and a low free t3 and t4 because my

tsh was high. He raised my meds. As I am sitting here, my heart on week

3 of this new dose is beating like crazy and hurts. My neck where my goiter

is throbbing. I'll bet I am hyper again. I have Hashi, 100 pounds overweight

have had my adrenals tested, but you would think they can see I can't take

t4. I am on the Internet looking for the Thyroid list for CA to see who

is on my insurance list!Jamy

I have been going over the Armour list, but something else is very wrong to keep going from hypo to hyper on such a low dose of t4 when my TSH was so high a week ago. So I need someone that will be covered by my insurance for all the tests

Self medicating with thyroid can be dangerous and the same with most meds. With the exception of the beating heart, the symptoms are the same, fatigue, sore muscles and joints etc. when I am hyper or hypo. Though I have added a small change when I know I am about to be tested, changing my dosage whenever I want when it takes thyroid about six weeks to stabilize to me is too risky!

I can pay $200 a montha nd get insuerance, ror ai can pay the doc that

works for me and the lab, the same money.

Also a payment plan is a good idea.

ehn I get stabilized, I can get more income.

I can't afford to be sick like I was.

I was about to apply for disability.

I'm sincere about health. I can' afford a doctor is not in my vocabulary.

I can't afford NOT to have a doctor is.

Obviously, we are hard to dx and treat, sooo?

If it gets to over 10% of your income, Medi-Aid will cover retro of

3 months.

Ok my doc just told me if in a week nothing happened to double it.

But I have never been hyper, so it is different.

My shrink lets me change my ritalin as needed, and I take less thanwhat

is prescribed.

And for me, the lowest effective dose would be the way to go on that.

Hoping to get off of it, if there would be away. I even skip days

now.

This is also a generealization, imho.

Because I have more often been given the wrong meds

by doctors, and have wasted decades of my life.

I'm sure if they were sick, they would have it differently.

I know MD's who self medicate.
