Guest guest
If we are off on the holiday we get 10 hours of straight time (we work a ten hour day and were able to get all our benefits based around that). If we work the holiday we get 1 1/2 times our normal rate of pay plus the straight time pay so we get the equivalent of 2 1/2 times our rate of pay. This only applies if it is our regularly scheduled shift. If someone calls in sick on the holiday (of course that never happens!) or is on a leave day then we get 2 times our rate of pay plus the ten hours at straight time making it equal to 3 times our rate of pay per hour. Al Peace and may we always bring them home safely
