Guest guest
That's a great idea having a virtual element to it. I will definitely let the organizer know. Hi , From my point of view, since adult Aspie support groups seem to be so sadly lacking everywhere except perhaps for the largest connurbations, any kind of group would be extremely welcome. Trying to segregate the sexes would imply running two groups which would make it doubly hard to set them up and run them. Such adult groups could be largely self-help, I reckon, and without a balanced input from the opposite sex, I'm not convinced all the significant issues could be properly addressed. In the real world, generally speaking, neither males nor females live in segregated enclaves, and it's the real world we need to learn how to cope with, so I'm not much in favour of running segregated groups, even if it were possible to organise them. For those of us who don't live anywhere near any support groups, another most important aspect to this, as far as I can see, is that there should be an on-line element to the proceedings. Anyone who is unable to attend in person should be given an option for virtual attendance. Hope this helps. + --- Support Group question for Aspie Men please!
