Guest guest
I have read some of your messages Carla, Grace, Les. I would like to pass this information on to you. I found this book from inter-libray loan. Uterine Fibroids, by: Dr Stringer. He has a news letter specificly for women and he translates new medical information to lay women so they can understand what is going on. His address is Dr. Stringer, 55 Washington, Suite 2043, Chicago, Illinois, 60602- Website-(fibroid.com)- e-mail address (stringer@...) I must say I thought his book was the best I have found yet. Lots of diagrams, and a complete history explanation of what fibroids are. It all depends on where the are in the lining of the uteroius, what your treatment should be. I did not know this. Because there is no other mammal that gets them, there has been little, if none, research. There is no research that says diet plays a big role. I am very health conscious and am suffering severly. I found another book that is easy to read and informative(The Fibroid Book) by: Francis L. Hutchins, Jr, M.D. I hope this finds a way to anyone that could use this information and I am so happy to be a part of this group. All of us supporting one another. Who knows, we could be the key to the cure! Take care and God Bless! I will pray for us all. Sincerely Cahterine Rose Re: Blue Shield of CA Carla, They can study me all they like as I had a myomectomy in 1990 and now the fibroids are back with a vengence........I want a UFE not another myomectomy and certainly not a hysterectomy! a eGroups.com Home: /group/uterinefibroidswww. - Simplifying group communications
Guest guest
Ditto. From the descriptionof the book, and rave reviews from someone (although I don't remember who) I expected much more. By the time I got hold of it within a month of learning I had fibroids, I found it already had far more basic information than I had already found on my own. (Re: Dr. Stringer's book:) Does > he provide good information about uterine fibroids? Yes. But > it's basic info found on a lot of websites. _________________________________________________ FindLaw - Free Case Law, Jobs, Library, Community http:///www.FindLaw.com Get your FREE @JUSTICE.COM email! http://mail.Justice.com
