Guest guest
Okay let me ask. Instead of taking something that is nasty would one Muti B help or should I take more?
Guest guest
The only reason that I can think of that it may be helping you is the extra protein. There is nothing in or about brewer's yeast that would supplement low thyroid output? Anybody else heard anything? Guest guest
Hello---Spawn?!---Brewers Yeast is the world's greatest source of ALL the B vitamins, and is more highly absorbable than a lot of sources. It tastes so nasty, but really is an excellent source of these vitamins. When I take B vitamins close to bedtime, I don't sleep at ALL. Anyway, what is your main treatment for the thyroid problems? What type of thyroid disease do you have? Hashimoto's? New to you Introduction. > Hello all, > I am a man in my mid 30's. I have was diagnosed with hypothyroid > just under 5.5 years ago. Guest guest
, My name is Louie sorry about that. I have Hypothyroid although I may have some tests done because my symptoms do seem to fluctuate. I take Levoxyl in the morning, if I forget it by 2 pm I am a zombie. Guest guest
I tried to stomach that stuff way back yrs ago (on the way-back machine), and I just couldn't do it, but I know that it's packed with all kinds of good things. I tried it in everything, and I just couldn't drink it, but if it's doing good for someone else, and it's making them feel better, then I'd say stick with it. Surely the pwdred form is more absorbable, especially when it comes to the B12. Re: New to you Introduction. Okay let me ask. Instead of taking something that is nasty would one Muti B help or should I take more?

Guest guest
Hi Louie--Thyroid meds should be taken on an empty stomach, separate from food (unless it's the natural thyroid, which absorbs easily under the tongue), 3-4 hrs apart from calcium products, calcium or iron supplements. If you are regularly forgetting to take your thyroid med, this could be one problem. Also, if you've been listening in for awhile, you would know that most of us do better on a natural thyroid med, such as Armour (there are others also). Do you have any recent test results, with the reference ranges to go with them? If so, post them here please. Re: New to you Introduction. > , > My name is Louie sorry about that. Guest guest
, I take my thyroid medication first thing when I wake but I am a coffee drinker and that no doubt has a negative effect. I do not start eating until about 3 hours after I wake. I just figured out there are other medications, I guess I am a bad student in the Thyroid arena and I skimmed many sites a bit to quick but I am going to talk to my doctor about Armour and other natural meds. I also need to get my test done and pay attention to the results this time.
