Guest guest
Helen, Sorry to hear of your lack of result from natural progesterone. Perhaps you should give vent to your opinion of Dr Lee's claims direct to him. The email address is info@.... After all, science can only advance with the help of empirical results. Good luck with the UAE. Will you continue to take progesterone meanwhile or is that it? liz ultrasound result >I promised to post my ultrasound result after spending nine months on >natural remedies for reducing my fibroid based on Dr. R. Guest guest
Liz: An excellent idea. I shall tell the good doctor. As for continuing to use the stuff, I don't know. It makes a nice moisturizer on my face and seems to help a little with some painful areas. My new gynecologist is into plant-based hormone therapies and she's going to test my hormone levels some time after the UAE and see where I am and what I need. A local pharmacy compounds bio-identical hormones for individual needs so I feel very lucky. No Premarin for me at menopause. As for your question about forgetting the progesterone at midcycle, that has never happened to me. I keep using the cream until my period starts and it starts right over it as if the progesterone makes no difference to it at all. I would tend to restart the count on day one same as usual in the situation you describe. That's not good at all Candace... I've been using the cream along with other supplements for about 4 months now & it seems to be helping me.. Has anyone else from the list had a bad experience with natural progesterone cream??? Guest guest
I don't know if the progesterone cream made my tumor grow, since it appeared suddenly from one year to the next before I started to use the cream, so it was obviously in the mood to grow for whatever reason. However, the progesterone definitely did not work the way Dr. Lee claimed it would in his book. He says to use the cream if you have a fibroid and you might find that your " fibroid the size of an orange might reduce to the size of a walnut, " and that if you use the cream for three months and go back and get an ultrasound, then if you find that the " fibroid has not increased in size or reduced 10 to 15 percent, that would be a good result. " In nine months on the cream, my fibroid increased 50%. I guess we would have to deem that a p*sspoor result. Now that I am back in town I intend to email Dr. Lee. I get his newsletter and he has not mentioned UAE since I signed up. Guest guest
Hi, I actually used natural progesterone cream last year for at least 9 months (I can't remember exactly for how long). At the beginning it seemed to help reduce the bleeding, but after a few months, the bleeding continued to get worse and worse. The dr. then doubled my dose and I then found out that my tumours all grew regardless. ( I got frustrated and changed dr. who instead put me on the Pill. And my tumour grew again.) I'm kind of curious myself to see if this cream actually does work for anybody. I was disappointed. >From: helen@... >Reply-To: uterinefibroidsegroups >To: uterinefibroidsegroups >Subject: Re: ultrasound result >Date: Sun, 18 Jun 2000 20:36:49 -0400 > >I don't know if the progesterone cream made my tumor grow, since it >appeared >suddenly from one year to the next before I started to use the cream, so it >was obviously in the mood to grow for whatever reason. Guest guest
I didn't start using the progesterine cream until the 3rd cycle after my UAE. I was bleeding continuously between my 2nd and 3rd cycles. I started using the cream on day 12 and stopped bleeding that same day. I was extremely anemic and am now at the low end of normal. This is my 3rd month to use the cream and my cycles are almost back to every 28 days. The last one was 26 days. Before the UAE I had tried BC pills and progestin. Both caused horrible depression and mood swings so I never made it more than a couple of months on them. I haven't had anything but positive results from the progesterine cream. Hopefully between it and the UAE I will continue to be on the road to better health. Wishing you the best of luck on July 6th.
