Guest guest
Hi all  My husband's bilirubins have dropped to 2.6 from 3.8 and continue dropping. they were as high as in the teens at one point. Is this good? how significant is this drop? How significant are bilirubin counts?  eleni Subject: Re: Do you want CHAT enabled on our group? To: livercirrhosissupport Date: Wednesday, June 8, 2011, 2:09 PM  Hi I run the Warriors, and several other HCV/medical groups. 1 - I have held off turning on the 'chat' feature in my groups, because Yahoo groups themselves are a place to chat 'on forum' with other members. A seperate 'chat room' is not needed. 2 - Another reason to think about is that the more people who chat in the chat feature, the less they will post 'on forum', and that makes a group look inactive to prospective new members. 3 - One more thing to think about is the Yahoo Groups Catigory listings. Im pretty sure that Yahoo rates a group by membership numbers, assets [links/files], and the number of monthly posts. I have no problem with a chat room, but I am trying to look at the business end, and how it will affect my groups. I have seen other groups 'on forum' postings drop dramtically when they activated the chat feature. This not only hurts the groups attracting new members [which is hard enough], but it hurts the members themselves in the exchange and storing of messages and information. 4 - The groups MESSAGE feature is a great asset for a group, for the retrieval of stored information. The chat room stores nothing. Im sure that if you think about it, you will see that a seperate chat room only hurts a group. In my opinion, it is not a asset. People who wish to just 'chat', have unlimited resources to do so. And lastly, I am a member of LCS because I wish to gain and exchange info. Chatting is not why I am here. Ok, that is my opinion, and some thoughts. I would vote 'no' to opening the chat room, but that it up to you. love don in ks > > Yes, Please.
