The medical history of an elderly patient who suffered a fracture to the

base of her skull following a fall, was taken to hospital, then suffered

probably partially drug-induced heart/renal/respiratory problems reads:

Sturz a.e. bei rhythmogener Synkope am (date)

Any idea what a.e. might stand for?

TIA

Margaret

Dear Margaret,

" a.e. " is " most probably " (am ehesten).
