Re: Playing Catch Up!

This is a community of very few people. Just found out a couple hours ago. I

stay to myself so I'm not sure who the girl was. (I don't get along with

people) (they hate all my animals) nursing a bear back to health now, so they

stay clear of me.

My 'adopted cousin' does the wildlife rehab stuff in

Gretna. She has an education program for 4-H about wildlife. She was

telling me something about that Wildlife Center in the Waynesboro

area, said they put their animals down too quickly. Didn't give them

a chance. and I both teach hunter education, but I think she

has more energy to do everything than I do. After 8 years of

teaching, I will probably have to drop out. One of my riding

instructors does the rehab stuff, mostly domesticated animals. She

sounds like a collector, she has everything at her place in Irish

Creek. I think it would be interesting to rehab bats, and redtail

hawk. I know a few falconers.

Animals are honest, compared to some people. I get more honesty and

acceptance from my puppy, and from the one-eyed horse I ride. I can't

even think of two many human friends that I have. One of them, who

lives two streets from me has Fibromyalgia. We mostly can't remember

to talk to each other. My significant other lives elsewhere, and I

see him occasionally through out the year.

Savonna, ever thought about doing that PMU Foal rescue stuff? Now

that would be something else. Say Savonna, do you ever give

presentations to groups about the wildlife rehab work you do?

Dillion

> YEAH!! Took a class for wildlife rehabilitation. Got a pile

here. Bear, squirrel, burmese python, chickens, ducks, cats, dog.

Come hunting season, I got a big pile. They are my friends.

over the last few months. I think this is the worst flair ever in my

have a Nuerologist that helps with mainly my head aches and MRI's

from my many falls, another I can't even think of his title LOL he

takes care of my IBS, Hietial Hernia and Reflux, ENT that takes care

of my throat! With all I have a great team. The best being my Ruemy,

my doctors here I just have a horrible fear of loosing them. I have

needs!

me! Yes when I am feeling good I tend to get very winded so if you

don't like to read I don't know what to tell you other than delete me

LOL! I am thrilled yet scared to death at our growth! We loose a lot

of members for various reasons some very good members but they leave

because of a missunderstanding with another member. However it seems

for every one we loose we gain 2. It's been that way from the very

begining. When I started this group I thought maybe 20 or 30

possibley even 50 like on my family site, but this site blew wide

OPEN! We probably had 50 members the first couple of weeks. I always

say the WORST thing a FIBROMITE CAN DO is to START A SUPPORT GROUP

FOR FIBROMITES LOL! But we are still a big family just as I wanted

this group and I have faught and even lost a few moderators that

wanted to take over and start making changes. I DO NOT want this

group to be a MODERATED Group unless ABSOLUTLY NESSESSARY! Forgive my

spelling! I have had a few that did just that they closed the group

to moderated, we still continued to grow just the same however I did

not feel the family touch that I want this group to have and keep,

the open arms to come into! So needless to say I come back in and

change it back like I want it and gently tell the one who does it

that it is not what I want. They usually leave because of the

dissaray of our outlooks for the group! Many of the ones that do

leave keeps in contact because we have became family and we are lost

without each other the love is there! You may ask how can I love 412

members I would answer you VERY EASILY! My heart is big enough to

span the globe! Which kicks me and tells me I need to get busy with

our adoption site and get it going as I have promised for many

months. Will explain to new members later! Seems something has always

happened that slows me down or stops me totaly! God willing I will be

able to get to work on it.

> I will close now I think LOL! I am sure you are worn out if you

are even still reading! But please know I do carry each and every one

of you in my heart! So goodbye for now. Hopefully I will be able to

thoughts, light a candle for me or whatever your form of faith deems

Being one of the fairly newbies here, I always wondered about

the " Mom " of the group. Thanks for all the information that you

posted about yourself - and yes I read every word ;-) .

I am so sorry that you have had to go through, and are still going

through, so much. It sounds like you have had a very tough life.

I want to say thanks for creating this family for all of us to be a

part of.

Neuro, & MD. I need to move back to Texas however I can not give up

my doctors here I just have a horrible fear of loosing them. I have

never had the help that I am getting from them. But mainly the repore

I have with them. I don't have a clue how I am going to make it here

in Wi. on my income but I guess I just have to trust God will meet my

needs!

> So ALL you have heard from the List MOM as Vicki likes to call

Hopefully I will be able to

interact for awhile again! Please Pray for me, keep me in your

thoughts, light a candle for me or whatever your form of faith deems

right! Bless You ALL!

No kidding, you lived in BV? Good thing you got out, because people

are being taxed for the golf course. A bunch of city " rocket

scientists " dreamed up a high school built on a toxic waste dump,

plus a fire station located on a busy street. The new people who

bought the college destroyed the award winning equesterian program.

My riding teacher works about 3 jobs, plus a bunch of little part

time jobs just to feed all her animals! Savonna, you sure do deserve

an award for what you are doing.

> Actually, I came here in 2000, drove a simi, I had my liscence

revoked, had family here, when this hit me hard. I've got 9 cats

right now. Animals are about the only thing keeping me moving now.
