Huh? Evil woman, Cin! As essential employees, we gotta go

to work in that stuff.. with all those crazy drivers... in

the DC area.. Texans and Arkansawyans and other critters

who are clueless about how to drive on wet roads and are

even worse when the precipitation freezes. They all drive

4x4 vehicles at breakneck speeds, never thinking about just

cause they go good on that frozen stuff, that those big

4x4's stop like big hockey pucks... usually when they make

contact with some other object(s)... my car... yours?

Evil, I say. Park truck at end of driveway, close to the

road, so I don't have to shovel so much snow. Plows build

a huge berm of ice-crete across the front that takes a

chissel to bust up.. winds blow new snow into the void as

fast as I can shovel.. And we had less than 6 " this time

(even less, at work).

Now, if I'm off, that's different. Get out the old wooden

Nordic skis and off I go. But as long as I'm an essential

employee, keep that snow away from here. If I want snow,

I'll drive up there and pay some resort owner for the

privilege of enjoying it... <grumble - like saying QUIET

within 50' of a console...>

Always take good care of yourself and yours,

50's not old if you're... the Tree
