Term DE - FR (EN) distante In-Brust-Rezidive

Hi there!

I am translating (from German into French) a document about

intraoperative radiotherapy used as a treatment of breast cancer.

I have some problems with the following sentence:

Die Risikofaktoren für *distante In-Brust-Rezidive* sind gut belegt.

I am not sure I understand it right: does that mean that the recurrence

is to be found in the _*same breast*_ (that is local) but *_not in the

tumor bed_* (for " distant " ) or am I totally wrong?
