Hi Meribeth,

I have not gone to Mayo, but i just wanted to let you know that i could

not take Diamox either. I didn't realize till i was on it about 5 weeks

that it made me totally lathargic, decreased my alertness and cognitive

ability and i basically felt like a dufus on it. God Bess those of you

who don't get these side-effects from it.

I wonder a lot of someone's gonna stop me and ask me if i'm drunk too.

I imageine, among other symptoms, you must be dealing with vertigo and

drop attacks like me, if you have difficulty staying upright in malls

and with walking etc.

Just wanted to let you know i can VERY CLOSELY relate to your

suffering. Good luck in your search for wellness and assistance
