Guest guest
I don't post here often but I read everything, and I have some questions that I'm hoping someone has answers to. First, my daughter (8yo, ASD, GFCFSFotherF, many supplements), has developed some new allergies. These are not sensitivities, but actual obvious immediate allergic reactions. At this point, we think she's allergic to pecans and cats. The pecan allergy seems to make her throat sore and the cats make her eyes swell up. I know exactly how she feels, because I'm allergic to seafood (throat) and also cats (eyes). My question is, do these new allergies have any relation to anything that we might be doing with her biomedically? Could we be doing more, or should we be doing less? Or is there no relationship at all? I know I haven't given much info on what supplements she's on but I didn't want this email to be too long at this point. If you want to know, I can mail it out. Second, I'm pregnant and due in May, and I'm wondering should I take any precautions, like going GFCF, before and after the baby is born. I know about vaccines and I plan either not to vaccinate at all, or to do it later on a modified (Cave?) schedule. Any other thoughts? Finally, with my previous 2 children, I did not have enough breast milk and had to give up breastfeeding earlier than I wanted to. Any ideas as to how I can increase the supply this time around. I tried fenugreek, some kind of nuts, all sorts of that kind of herbal/bio help with my other children, and none of it helped. I heard that you can get some shots that help with the supply. Is that true? What are they? Does anyone recommend them, or alternatively have anything negative to say about them? Thanks in advance for all your help, Inna.
