Guest guest
Hi, Joan. We have not set up a chat room as a group. I guess it is about time, dont you think? Usually I find myself being summoned on Yahoo by a member, usually late at night over the years, and have made some really good friends like that. I have day/night reversal from encephalopathy, and so do many of my friends so I'm up late most nights logged in to yahoo chat most of the time, but I think it wouldnt be hard to find a third party chat service, and I will look in to it tonight, as soon as we get back from the vet with our new kitten. He was hospitalized for a week because of a cold he caught right after we adopted him, and they offered no cost medical care for 14 days after the adoption. Or id be really broke. I'll look forward to chatting with you, one way or the other. Love, Bobby ________________________________ To: livercirrhosissupport Sent: Sat, December 11, 2010 8:30:09 AM Subject: on line chat Hi Everyone: Is everyone ready for Christmas, I am almost, no time to put off anything these days no matter how tired we are or how lousy we feel. I love Christmas and this disease is not going to change that. Is there a place were you go to chat, is there a chat room I am not able to find? I would love sometimes to be able to talk to people live (sort of) you know what I mean. These posts work great and everyone is fantastic I guess I am being selfish and wanting more contact and support. Just thought I would check if there is someplace you all go online to meet. I promise not to tell. lol Thanks Joan and if I run out of time Merry Christmas to All, Best wishes and tons of hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
We already have a chap capability through Google. It hooks up with aim. Now it might not show if you aren't getting your emails through google. But anyone can get aim. Jan On Sat, Dec 11, 2010 at 1:51 PM, Bob Aragon wrote: > Hi, Joan. Guest guest
I'd just like to point out that some people don't have anything to do with Christmas, not being Christian... Guest guest
I was in no way intending to be disrespectful of anyone or anyones beliefs, or none beliefs. I am a christian and I love Christmas. I love the sharing, joy and everything about this time of year and that is what I was trying to share, my happiness and joy despite this disease. I am taking my most wonderful grandson who is a non christian to Christmas carols by candlelight at my church this evening because his parents and other grandparents believe as I do that there is no reason not to share happiness and joy at every occasion possible. I have learned a lot since getting this disease, not just about the disease but also about caring, sharing, compassion, love and time but I guess I still have a long way to go. But each day is a learning experience and I appreciate your concerns and will attempt to think before I type next time about the fact that I do not know about all of the people in this group and I do love this group. Guest guest
We were going to put out our tree, but we are afraid that the new kitten will eat the needles, which dont look like they would agree with his tiny digestive tract! We started out shopping for some family members but only small gifts, but we didnt get done yet. I suppose it's not too late. Still looking for a chat room we could invade.
