Guest guest
nne answered this on Leo 5 years ago (!), offering 'complications'. However, the context there was diabetes. I wonder whether it's the best translation in a completely general context (I am not saying it isn't!), i.e. an article talking about ways that a clinician can be assisted in differentially diagnosing condition X vs. Y AND ITS Folgeerkrankungen. (The illustrative example given there is hereditary spherocytosis vs. malarial infections and their Folgeerkrankungen, but it's really only for Veranschaulichung).
