Guest guest Posted September 9, 1999 Report Share Posted September 9, 1999 Hi Everyone.. I'm JJ, 39yr.old female. I finally saw a NS and got diagonosed with ACM1 with a 10mm herniation. He wants to do surgery next month. He said it would be good to do it to possibly prevent more symptoms. I have relatively few now, but the ones I have are very aggravating. His name is Dr. Hawk from Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Oh. He seems to be a very nice man and very sympathetic, patient and understanding. Now to the point... What do I expect from the surgery (decompression) and recovery? How much hair will I lose? How long till I feel better? Anything to be concerned with after the surgery?
