Hi everyone,

My granddaughter has had the liver biopsy done this afternoon.  She is awake

and

is taking advantage of her biopsy.....She sounded so good.  Now the

waiting...mayber Monday.  I know that the waiting is the hard

part....especially

for me....knowledge  can hurt and be scary.  I will let everyone know the

results.....Love Lyncia

Lyncia, tell them to make sure they get a written report of the results.

The doctor who did my first biopsy didn't want to give out the results even

to other doctors. Finally, after he was told a second one had been done and

they wanted the first report to compare, he released it. It used to be that

if you were referred to a specialist, a report automatically went back to

your family physcian, but I guess with all this privacy stuff, that no

longer works unless you request it in writing. Jan

Thanks Jan.  I will have them ask for the report.  I already told my DIL to

get

a copy of all medical records and keep them.
