I don't know Sicilian food specifically, but don't they use a lot of

healthy fats and oils in their cooking - like olive oil? My

experience is that most women have an unhealthy fear of fats.

Healthy fats like flaxseed oil and olive oil can your raise your

metabolism tremendously and help with losing fat and building

muscle. For women, this is even more important than men because your

processes are more dependent on healthy fats for the manufacture of

hormones that keep that female chemistry in balance and check.
