Part B home health -follow up

Thank you all for the replies regarding providing Medicare Part B PT services in

the home setting. I understand the cost factor but I do believe for a small

private practice like mine that it is actually beneficial and cost effective to

do it on a limited basis.

The case I described is one client and the home visits would supplement her

coming to our clinic (when the weather is good).

In our clinic, the holiday time and January are a slow period. We feel that we

will capture a cost that otherwise would be eliminated by doing this service in

the home versus dealing with cancellations due to weather. For our small

clinic, the ability to capture as much reimbursement as possible is important.
