Now, that's a little bit diffferent from receiving a call from a

" celebrity. " I suppose I could mention one of the local TV newscasters

around here. We had a good report of a " moving " indecent exposure, vehicle

description, license plate, fairly good description of the suspect, as

well. When the suspect vehicle was stopped, the driver had his pants

unzipped and was partially exposed. But of course he hadn't been doing

anything " wrong " - he said he was " adjusting himself " as he drove.... he

denied wagging his weenie at anybody. His DL came back to the newscaster

and there was a collective gasp in the Comm Center. Later, the officer

confirmed the suspect's identity.

It makes it hard for any of our dispatchers to watch him on the news. He

also is featured in one of those " Travels with.... " programs, where he zips

around the country to highlight interesting places. Uh huh. None of us

want to go with HIM to " seldom seen but worthwhile " locales!

He wisely doesn't mention anything on-camera about that stop.

Happy to be here, proud to serve.
