Guest guest
Hello everyone I am very behind with my e-mails - I have about 500! to read so I hope everybody is fine and the chargers are doing well Just wanted to thank everybody for their advice I was given a couple of months ago to get my daughter Jennies kidneys checked out. Her appointment finally came, we went to see the doctor on Thursday - he had never heard of CHARGE - but was very willing to learn and Jennie has had blood tests and urine tests and will be sent another appointment for a scan of her kidneys as the unit we went to does not have this facility she has to go to another hospital, then she goes back to the doctor and he decides if any other tests are needed. I will let you know when I get results. Also, Jennie has been asked to take part in some doctor training in a couple of weeks time - qualified doctors will examine her as try to make a diagnosis - their results of this and other examination determine whether they get into The Royal College of Paediatricians - Jennie has been asked before but I have always felt she has enough to go through but this time she overheard the telephone conversation and asked me to explain and she decided she wanted to do it she said - it will help other children if more doctors know about charge. I cant believe she will be ten in a few weeks. Well I better end here Speak to you all soon Mum to Emma 11, Jennie 9 (ChaRgE), Tim 8, 6 and Becky 3 Essex, England
